Shelby, a passionate and accomplished dance instructor, has been immersed in the world of dance since the age of three. With over three decades of experience, she has trained extensively in a wide variety of styles, including contemporary, lyrical, ballet, modern, classical jazz, jazz funk, and hip hop. Shelby’s impressive journey also includes dancing for the National Basketball League of Canada, where she not only performed but later served as the dance team coach for several years. Throughout her career, Shelby competed in dozens of dance competitions, consistently achieving high accolades for her talent and skill. She attributes much of her success to the guidance of renowned coaches who helped shape her into the versatile and dynamic dancer and teacher she is today. Now, as an instructor, Shelby is dedicated to passing on her knowledge and passion to the next generation of dancers, inspiring them with the same drive and dedication that have defined her own career.

In 2012, Shelby fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening her own dance studio, Dance Envy, which has since thrived under her leadership. Shelby continues to share her passion for dance, inspiring students of all ages to reach new heights in their dance journeys.

Olga Petiteau started her professional dancer career in 2009 when she joined Ballet Cymru in South Wales – Uk, where she performed in national and international tours, dancing principal roles which include Giselle and Beauty from Beauty and the Beast. She also was involved in the creation and inception of many neoclassical and contemporary pieces. Following this, Olga joined as a guest artist at the Vienna Festival Ballet where she danced the role of Swanhilda in Coppelia. She then joined Les Ballets Classique de Paris for their Swan Lake and Nutcracker international tour. In 2013, Olga joined the Atlantic Ballet Atlantique Canada where she performed for 11 years dancing the Atlantic Ballet repertoire. In 2024, Olga offered her last performance interpreting the role of Edith Piaf originally created on her in 2013 by Igor Dobrovolskiy in the Atlantic Ballet Atlantique Canada’s original production of PIAF. Olga is now the Director of the School of Atlantic Ballet and is sharing her passion for ballet by teaching ballet classes at the School of Atlantic Ballet and at Dance Envy.

Kayla joined Dance Envy at the age of 10 and has grown into an exceptional dancer and instructor. Now 21, she teaches jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and hip hop, while also showcasing her impressive acrobatic skills. With 11 years of competitive dance experience, Kayla has earned many achievements and awards throughout her career. Her dedication, talent, and passion for dance shine through in her teaching, where she inspires and challenges her students to reach new heights. Kayla’s journey with Dance Envy continues to influence and shape the next generation of dancers.

During her years as a dancer, Renelle trained in many styles including: HipHop, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Ballet and Lyrical. With the HipHop style being her specialty, She has perfected and trained constantly to improve her knowledge and teaching techniques in this specific style. As a dancer, Renelle achieved many awards at both Regional and National events in all different styles of dance, including overall high score placements, special awards and scholarships. Renelle has attended several dance workshops that have allowed her to experience many different dance styles. She has won a bronze medal at The Dance World Cup international dance competition, top 12 and under routine of the competition at Millennium inspiration tour and dancer of the year of Dance Envy in the 2021-2022 season. Renelle expresses her passion for this art form by sharing her knowledge and skills to other students. Currently studying in Education at the University of Moncton, She has learned many techniques to help with student’s anxiety, stress and emotions. Her main goal as a dance teacher is to push the kids to their full potential and to provide a safe space for them to express themselves.

Emilie has been part of Dance Envy since the age of 15 and has enjoyed a successful competitive dance career spanning 8 years. Now 23, she balances her time between her successful career as an hair stylist, teaching dance and office administration. Emilie brings both her organizational skills and her passion for dance to the studio. Trained in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and hip hop, Emilie occasionally steps into the classroom to share her expertise with students. Her dedication behind the scenes and in the studio plays a key role in the smooth operation and success of Dance Envy.

Chloe danced for 10 years competitively. Training in Contemporary, Jazz and Hip Hop styles. She has travelled all over Canada and the United States winning national and international titles. Chloe has a passion for dance and she loves to share it with the students! She is also is studying law at the University of Moncton.

Mia has been dancing with Dance Envy since the age of 4, growing up in the studio and mastering a wide range of styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and hip hop. Now at 15, she brings her passion for dance and acrobatic skills to the next generation of dancers as a dedicated teacher. Over the past decade, she has enjoyed a highly successful competitive dance career, earning numerous accolades and refining her craft under the guidance of talented instructors. Her unique blend of technical expertise, creativity, and enthusiasm makes her a beloved and inspiring instructor at Dance Envy.

Maya has been a part of the Dance Envy family since the age of 4, and at just 15, she’s already an accomplished dancer and instructor. Trained in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and hip hop, Maya also brings impressive acrobatic skills to her repertoire. Over the past 10 years, she has excelled as a competitive dancer, earning numerous awards and accolades. Now, as a teacher, Maya shares her passion and experience with younger dancers, inspiring them with her creativity, dedication, and love for the art of dance.

Hajar danced for 13 years competitively before moving to Canada. Training in Contemporary, lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, heels, and other styles. She has travelled all over Morocco, France, Spain (at the Farray’s International dance center) and Canada to learn different dance styles and had the opportunity to participate in some national and international competitions while travelling as well as acquiring awards, special nominations and medals along the way. She has participated in many dance conventions, workshops and competitions. She has also taken dance classes at University of Ottawa and University of Moncton while Cheerleading with the Gee-Gees and University of Moncton cheer team. Hajar has a passion for dance as she always works on improving her techniques and dancing and she loves to share it with the students.
